DxM provides solutions and capabilities across a number of large platforms and delivers specific solutions to clients in the energy industry. Founded by industry veterans, DxM provides technology infrastructure, solutions, and consulting to the sector.

Leadership

Gerry Metzler - Founder

Gerry Metzler, DxM Analytics - CEOGerry is the Founder of DxM Analytics, a firm dedicated to supporting clients as they grapple with the everchanging energy and technology landscape. Metzler has nearly forty years of technology expertise and has personally evolved to meet client needs over this time. He has been a leader in the Computer Aided Software Engineering, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Energy Transformation, Intelligent Grid, and Center for the Commercialization of Electric Technology (Texas).

Gerry spent years in software development and consulting. He rose to the executive ranks of a Big Four Consultancy, eventually spending twenty years with IBM in a leadership role in the energy Industry. Metzler owned and operated his own company for over ten years. His company (Quantitative Business Analytics) received numerous awards and recognition for innovation in data analytics. Metzler sold QBA in 2023.

Gopal Bhageria - partner

Gopal. Bhageria, DxM Analytics - PartnerAn innovator with a 19-year legacy at IBM as an Executive Architect and Master Inventor, distinguished by 40 US technology patents, now leading Sujosu Technology. During his IBM tenure, Gopal spearheaded utility projects for Southern California Edison, contributed to NIST industry standards, designed Smart Grid Reference Architecture, and developed solutions for major utilities. The technical depth that built those reference architectures is the same depth that now leads Sujosu's engineering.

Douglas Taylor. - Chief Product Officer

Doug Taylor - CPODoug Taylor is the Chief Product Officer at DXM Analytics, where he leads product strategy, platform architecture, and the development of DXM’s operator‑grade intelligence systems for utilities and critical‑infrastructure organizations. He brings more than four decades of experience designing and delivering large‑scale market, operations, and analytics platforms across the North American energy sector. Before joining DXM, Doug served as a senior technology and process‑improvement consultant at QBA, advising on Transmission Planning, Energy Markets, EMS modernization, and Financial Settlements.

Prior to his consulting work, Doug held multiple senior leadership roles at MISO, including Director of Corporate Planning & Analysis and Program Director for the Ancillary Services Market implementation—an initiative that earned him recognition as a Franz Edelman Laureate for excellence in Operations Research. Earlier in his career, Doug spent more than two decades at PJM Interconnection, where he led architecture, technology, and market‑system integration efforts. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s in Computer Science from Villanova University.
